Bryant double basses have established a reputation for quality and value for money, and are played in many leading orchestras in Britain and abroad, as well as for jazz and solo playing.

 

Since there comes a time in everyone's life when we must find something less strenuous to do, I don't plan on taking any more orders for new instruments.  My wife Liz and I hope to spend more time narrowboating, which was the reason we moved up to the West Midlands a few year ago.

 

I still have a few basses in stock and nearing completion, so if you are looking for a good bass, either for orchestral music or jazz, at a reasonable price, it is still worth having a look.

 

It would be possible for me to buy in part finished basses from China or Eastern Europe, and sell them as "workshop basses" as seems to happen a lot these days, but I don't want to go down that route.  I have always made my basses in their entirety, and after making just short of 100 basses, I don't want to change now.
